What is Palliative Care?
Palliative care involves providing a person with a long-term or terminal illness with the physical, social, emotional and spiritual support they need. At Rosewood, we place great emphasis on maintaining a person’s comfort and quality of life during a time where they may feel their condition is overwhelming them.
Importantly, we understand that family members often want to be involved in their loved one’s care, so we work hard to ensure that families are consulted and kept up to date.
What kind of support is provided?
Our dedicated team works closely with specialist doctors and other health professionals to ensure that palliative care is tailored to a person’s individual circumstances and to assist them in managing their symptoms and pain.
